Rona (រណា) is a Phnom Penh-based woodwork company that uses sustainably sourced wood to create furniture & more. 

For this proposal, the concept revolved around the merging of the organic with the man-made. Rona’s designs converge the structural & geometric lines of crafted wood with the organic & untouched characteristics of natural wood. 

With this in mind, a bespoke-type logo was created. Using a standard sans serif as a guideline, the letters were then split into two parts, one of each following the organic and the other the structural. To mimic even better the furniture designs and bring some softer lines, some rounded edges were applied. After some experiments, a few variations of color, fill, and stroke were created to allow the lettering to be more dynamic and versatile.
